What are PRIME rims?
The edge uses PRIME POM rims (a tough, cushion-like plastic) for a softer, safer feel on contact, while a stainless-steel rim sits in the middle to keep spin power and stability high. You get power + comfort in one throw.
Why is it US$150?
Multi-material builds cost more to design and machine. PRIME uses three materials (6061 aluminium body, stainless steel mid-rim, POM edge rim) in a “sandwich” structure. That means extra tooling, tighter tolerances, longer assembly/QC — plus we include my Yo-Yo Masterclass & Tutorials that include all the knowledge from my 12+ years in yoyoing.
Is the XENON PRIME durable?
Yes. PRIME’s POM ring and Stainless steel rim are hammered tightly together, making the yoyo impact-resistant and designed for daily practice. It won’t feel mushy, and it doesn’t deform under normal use.
