I got two deviant five’s and I got to say, performance wise it’s hella good, great for all tricks but mainly designed for horizontal styling, considering the shape of the yoyo. Best yoyo in my collection, it’s the most catchable, stable, and powerful yoyo I have currently, but not my favorite. In my opinion I like the xenon the best because of its really comfy but angular shape, with solid spin time, stability and power, and at the same price as deviant plus. If the deviant five was at least 65 dollars which is the same price as the cheat code, then I would definitely get three, but overall, best yoyo in terms of performance in my collection, thanks for making this yoyo, but I would love it even more if it was 65 dollars.

The super wide shape isn't as cumbersome as you might think. Free spins for about 3 minutes. Feels amazing in the hand. The 7075 aluminum really helps make it resilient to dings.
Personally, it's like a super wide model of my Edge FS 2.0 which is my main yoyo. It was easy to connect with this yoyo and start to handle it.
This yoyo makes risky tricks noticeably easier to land. This lasts a very long time during horizontal tricks. It has about the same amount of stability and spin time as the new iyoyo iceberg, but has less power. You can still do all of your tech on this(my densest tech is Gentry wrist mount part 1). It may hinder chopsticks a little bit, but they are still possible. The feel is a bit weird, but you'll get used to it. Grinds are amazing on this yoyo. It can do finger spins pretty well because the flat area around the axle is small. It is dead smooth. I cannot feel vibe. I think this yoyo is worth it.
