Bought this expecting a yoyo that was extremely powerful with alot if kickback and feels sluggish. Surprisingly its still was extremely powerful and yet somehow almost fast. If you are looking for a very powerful yoyo and dont care about the sharpness or slightly heavier feel than go for it. If you want a slightly lighter and zippier yoyo go for Xenon Prime and if you want floaty but solid weight...

Holy crap. This. Yoyo. Is. INCREDIBLE!!! At first, I didn't think that 60mm was to be taken seriously, but after just a few minutes of playing with Outlier 6, I CAN'T STOP!! Hands down a awesome and very beautiful looking yoyo as well plays very very good strong power tilt is almost non existent compared to my other throws and I own much more expensive ones lol I don't do any extreme flashy moves just a casual long timer thrower this is definitely my fav bimetal I own

I got the pack (which included this, the Logic 2 and Xenon Prime) for christmas, and this yoyo was great - super fast, long spinning and stable - perfect for flashy tricks. I will say that's it a bit sharp, but it's not a problem is you're a faster player
60mm wide. A bigger catch zone means the string is where your hand thinks it is.
The steel rims hang over the edge of the body. Almost 90% of the weight sits on that ring.
An extreme angular shape. Less drag, more speed through fast combos.
7075 aluminium. Denser and tougher than the 6061 most yoyos use.
Older Outliers had steel rings that sat close to the body. On the Outlier 6 the rims hang outside the body and curve outward, so the heaviest part of the yoyo is right on the outer edge. Brandon: “this ring should be more powerful and more comfortable.”
Brandon's words from the build video: “the strongest aluminium currently used in the yo-yo industry.” Denser and tougher than 6061, with a competition feel.
The Outlier line went 50mm in 2023, 55mm in 2024, 60mm in 2026. Wider yoyos are easier to land on. Contest winners have gone wider every year.
Brandon built it around speed combos and fast horizontal. The angular profile cuts drag so the yoyo keeps its spin through hard direction changes.

I bought an outlier 6 few weeks ago and I love it. It is the best yoyo I ever tried it is smooth, wide and powerful. I absolutely love it

Brandon thought so at first. His words: “the first 3 minutes you're like, ‘Oh my god, this is way too wide. I can't use this.’ And then you play with it and then all of a sudden it just fades and you're like, ‘Yo should have always been this wide.’” Give it one session.
It is the stainless steel rim on the Outlier 6. Older Outliers had steel rings that sat close to the body. This one hangs over the edge and curves outward, so the weight sits right on the outer edge. That ring is almost 90% of the yoyo's total weight.
The Outlier 5 is the 2024 model at 55mm with steel rims set closer to the body. The Outlier 6 is the 2026 model at 60mm with the overhang power ring and a 7075 aluminium body. It is the yoyo Brandon competes with now.
All three are 60mm and $150. The Outlier 6 hangs the steel outside the body for power. The Logic 2 hides the steel inside the body for comfort. The Xenon Prime is tri-material with the Prime rim. Pick the feel you want.
Unresponsive, competition spec out of the box. You bind it to bring it back. There is no responsive version of the Outlier 6.
The Galactus is still a great 60mm bi-metal. The Outlier 6 is the newer design with the power ring and the 7075 body. Brandon puts it simply: “we've evolved since the Galactus.”
